The company was founded in 1976 by the current partners, H. Meitinger and C.M. Fuisting.

Building upon their extensive experience in electronics and fine mechanics, a new development – the world’s first flexible, camera-assisted feeding and testing system, ROBO-POT - began in the early 1980’s.

Today, MRW specialises in opto-electronic based sorting / feeding of bulk work-pieces. The company is not only the oldest but also the most experienced provider of superior sorting and feeding systems.??The product range continues to expand to support increasing customer demands. From simple sorting / feeder units with one or two air nozzles the portfolio now encompasses complete solutions for demanding sorting and inspection applications including: spiral conveyors, line scan cameras, orientation units, separating gates, location fuxtures, work-piece storage units and machine tables with sound suppression acoustic enclosures.
